JB French Houses was created in 2000 by Jean-Bernard and Trisha, who have been helping people find homes in rural France ever since. We are a small, family-run agency — English and French speaking — and we work the way we'd want someone to work for us: honestly, patiently, and with real local knowledge of the areas we cover.

Our properties span Brittany, Normandy, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and beyond, from cottages and longères ready to move into, to barns and farmhouses waiting for someone with a vision. Because we know the regions and the local contacts personally, we can show you places that suit not just your budget but the life you're picturing.

When you buy through us there is no extra agency fee to you — our commission is already included in the price shown. We'll arrange your viewings with our local contacts, give you clear directions, and be alongside you through the process, so buying a home in another country feels as straightforward as it should.
