Since 2000, Jean-Bernard and Trisha have helped buyers find their dream home in rural France. Every week (bank holidays aside) we add around 60 new properties: 15 in Normandy, North Pays de la Loire and Nord-Pas-de-Calais, 14 in Brittany, 14 in Limousin, 11 across Poitou-Charentes, South Pays de la Loire and the Vendée, and 6 in the Dordogne and Lot.

Choose a region to see what we have there. Our villages are a guide, not a boundary, and properties sit within about thirty miles of the village they are listed under.

The way we work

Around the village

The houses shown for an area (like Bothoa, Bonen or Burcy…) are not necessarily in that village itself — they are within 0 to 30 miles around it.

Honest pricing

All the prices on our website include our commercial fees — if you buy through us there is no extra fee. Prices do not include the notary (legal) fees.

The viewing

We make the appointment for you with our local contacts and give you directions on how to meet them — they then take you to see the properties. We will need:

  • Your list of properties, with areas and references, plus your criteria;
  • Your full name, address and phone numbers;
  • Your port, and your arrival and departure dates.

Please allow at least four to five days’ notice — one to two weeks during holiday periods.
